I had one of those! Loved that thing, I was so good at solving it but I never beat the cube.

Everybody had a cube. Being able to solve the Pyraminx makes you one of the cool kids. Welcome to the club!

I have a vivid memory of trying to solve a Pyraminx in the back of our family’s VW camper way in the back with my dad driving. I could never do it and I also had a snake puzzle that formed in a shape of a ball.

I was able to learn to solve the Pyraminx from a book. It took the internet to learn me to solve the cube. I was dancing around when I solved both of them.

I have several puzzles like this in my classroom. One kid liked the Pyraminx in particular because he enjoyed taking it apart and putting it back together again!

I remember the color of the shelf my teacher kept hers on. You never know what kind of impression you're going to make on a student!

I read that the Pyraminx is never more than 11 moves away from being solved. You would think that even by random turns you would eventually be able to solve it. That is a puzzle-solving competition I would watch.
